The 2024-2025 school year is off to a great start! In order to address some behavior issues from last year, the elementary leadership team developed a new behavior system from scratch. Each family should have received a letter from their classroom teacher outlining the guidelines and procedures. Several key factors in the system include common: rules, behavior charts and voice level guidance. If you did not receive a letter or if you have any questions about the new system please reach out to the elementary office. (classroom rules chart pictured below)

Honored Hawk Changes
The Honored Hawk student reward program will continue this school year, but will look quite a bit different. The students will focus on one social skill each month and they will be able to earn "Hawk Bucks" for demonstrating that social skill or other positive behaviors. Septembers social skill is "how to introduce yourself to others". Once a month the students will be able to spend their "Hawk Bucks" on prizes! Prizes range from a piece of candy to being the principal for a day!!! This change was made to reward more of our Hawks for positive behavior.
Picture Day
Picture day is scheduled for Friday September 6th. You should have received an email from Wagner Portrait Group last week with ordering information. Use the ordering information below if you didn't receive the email.
